Overview
Chores are defined as reusable chore records and then shown as due instances for a specific day. The app supports recurring patterns, assignment to a household member, and completion tracking.
Berg’s Chores tab is role-aware. Admins get a management interface for planning and editing chores, while children see a focused daily checklist for the chores assigned to them.
Chores are defined as reusable chore records and then shown as due instances for a specific day. The app supports recurring patterns, assignment to a household member, and completion tracking.
Admins land in the chore management screen, where they can filter by child, switch between Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow, and create or edit chores from the toolbar.
Berg groups chores into Morning, Afternoon, Evening, and Today sections, then shows progress such as “2/5 done” for each child/section combination.
Children see a simpler “today” style view that only includes chores assigned to them for the selected date.
Chores are completed by tapping the circle/checkmark control beside the chore title. When an item is complete, Berg reduces the row emphasis and shows the finished state visually.
This keeps the daily workflow straightforward while still letting admins monitor completion at the household level.
